DEA Prescription Drug Take Back Program

The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposal, while also providing an opportunity to educate the general public about the potential for abuse of these medications.

The Coalition for a Drug-Free Clermont County has partnered with local and county law enforcement to hold several of these events, typically held twice each year in the spring and fall. The event is held on a Saturday, between the hours of 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. The public is welcome to drop off any unused or unwanted prescription medications. After these medications are collected, local law enforcement takes it to the DEA for proper disposal.

Visit the DEA website to find out about the next DEA Prescription Drug Take Back event. This site will provide dates, times and local locations.
